Hi Mustard,
I have received your emails, and I have downloaded the new
Soyuz v0.15.zip and LC1_v.09.zip. Thanks, I will look at them.

Yes, it is the same as Kourou ELS: IF the Soyuz.cfg has an attachment "SZ" (available) < 1m distance from the LC1 attachment point, it will grapple automatically. This works well for the ELS train.

That is true, if you use the same .cfg and .msh as Papyref's Soyuz_STK

Hmmm, you
can do that... but if you want
all the Soyuz to be compatible with ELS and LC1.....and the "train" .....it is much easier for me to change the blc1arms.dll attachment point (so it is the same as ELS)
But give me some time to test the new Soyuz and LC1 .zip's....

Put in Soyuz_s.ini
BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1 -1 -1 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT
It is better to
normalize all the vectors, like this:
BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1
-0.7071 -0.7071 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT
normally (x^x + y^y + z^z) = 1
BUT...I truly think.....if you want to use the "train" with LC1 it will be
much easier if all the Soyuz.cfg and train.cfg and arms.dll have the same attachment point. So, I will need to change the blc1arms.dll attachment point (same as ELSarms.dll) and you should use the Soyuz.cfg like Papyref's Soyuz_stk.cfg.
- Code:
-
ClassName = Soyuz_stk
Module = multistage2
; === Attachment specs ===
BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1 0 -1 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT
What do you think?
