Hi Mustard,
I have sent you the new blc1arms.dll by email (blc1arms_dll_3003.zip)

It includes the new blc1arms.msh + blc1arms_base.msh .

I have corrected the visual "bug" of the blc1arms "base".

Also, I have removed the "[Space] = Grapple Release Rocket" function - it is not necessary, all is automatic.

I hope it is all OK. Tell me what you think.

A+
Brian

Ok but what's about the grapping when the launcher is installed on the pad by the train ? the grapple is auto or not ?

Also now the launcher is rotate by 45°, not in good heading.
So i changed the cfg grapping point and it's ok.

Put in Soyuz_s.ini
BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1 -1 -1 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT

Papyref j'ai une chance sur 2. si l'orientation n'est pas bonne (90° de décallage avec la fusée déchargée du train) il faudra mettre 1 au lieu de -1. Dis moi ce que cela donne pour toi.

Hi Mustard,
I have received your emails, and I have downloaded the new
Soyuz v0.15.zip and LC1_v.09.zip. Thanks, I will look at them.

Yes, it is the same as Kourou ELS: IF the Soyuz.cfg has an attachment "SZ" (available) < 1m distance from the LC1 attachment point, it will grapple automatically. This works well for the ELS train.

That is true, if you use the same .cfg and .msh as Papyref's Soyuz_STK

Mustard wrote:

Hmmm, you can do that... but if you want all the Soyuz to be compatible with ELS and LC1.....and the "train" .....it is much easier for me to change the blc1arms.dll attachment point (so it is the same as ELS)
Smile But give me some time to test the new Soyuz and LC1 .zip's....

It is better to normalize all the vectors, like this:

BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1 -0.7071 -0.7071 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT

normally (x^x + y^y + z^z) = 1

BUT...I truly think.....if you want to use the "train" with LC1 it will be much easier if all the Soyuz.cfg and train.cfg and arms.dll have the same attachment point. So, I will need to change the blc1arms.dll attachment point (same as ELSarms.dll) and you should use the Soyuz.cfg like Papyref's Soyuz_stk.cfg.

Code:
ClassName = Soyuz_stk
Module = multistage2

; === Attachment specs ===
BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0  0  -13.8  0  0 -1  0 -1 0  SZ
END_ATTACHMENT

What do you think?

Laughing I have sent you the new .dll by email.

blc1arms_dll_0304.zip

I have modified the attachment, so you can use this for all the Soyuz.cfg

BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
P 0 0 -13.8 0 0 -1 0 -1 0 SZ
END_ATTACHMENT

Also, I have added the function(s) you wanted

[Space] = Configure Pad for Launcher Installation
J = Close Support Arms

But there is not much I can do about the "LOX condensation", I have increased the height a little - there is not much difference.

Tell me what you think.

Cheers :-)
